Abstract: The objectives of this work were to evaluate four plastic mulch colors: gray, green, white and black, and four treatments of irrigation: 40, 50, 60 and 80 % evaporation. The green mulch allowed the development of weeds. The mulch muffles the abrupt changes of temperature. Finally, the cultivation of garlic is promoted with any mulch color
