Abstract. In 2005 we constructed a 4-bay, 0.2 hectare Haygrove high tunnel at the K-State Horticulture Research and Extension Center, Olathe, Kansas. We have established trials of multiple small fruit and vegetable crops in this tunnel and in adjacent open field plots. Perennial crops under ongoing trial include asparagus, rhubarb, blueberry, blackberry and raspberry. Annual crops evaluated have included tomato, onion, squash and melon cultivars. In general, production of crops within the tunnel has been superior to crops produced in the open field. Summary results of trials conducted to date will be presented and discussed.
