THE 33RD NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL PLASTICS CONGRESS
November 2 to November 5, 2006 San Antonio, Texas

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF PAPERS AND ABSTRACTS

Congress Proceedings Will Be Published and Distributed on a CD Each Abstract Will Also Be Presented In Printed Form To All Attendees

  • In Congress Proceedings, Abstracts will be placed immediately preceding any full research report and will follow the sequence of presentations at the Congress, sorted by session topic categories. Non-presented papers will be in a separate section from the presented papers.
  • Abstracts will contain title, authors, keywords, and the summary of key points of the presentation or discussion session. Abstracts are to be submitted as one single-spaced page, 150 - 250 words.
  • Research papers are limited to six (6) single-spaced pages, including title, author(s), body, literature cited, illustrations, etc. Papers longer than six pages will be published providing an additional per page fee of $15 USD is remitted.
  • Page margins: left and right to be 3/4 (.75) inch from the edge of the paper; top to be 3/4 (.75) inch from the edge of the paper; bottom to be 1-1/4 (1.25) inch from the bottom edge of the paper.
  • Use 12 pt. Times or Times New Roman font (or similar typeface) for abstracts and research papers. The text of the format sample shown below uses this font and point size.
  • Images, graphs, line drawings, photos or other graphics must be included in the text and not submitted as attachments to the emailed document. Color may be used.
  • The use of appropriate statistical methods is encouraged. The writer should state whether or not statistical analyses were employed or "observations made."
  • If company or brand names are used, they should be footnoted with the generic chemical name, if known, and a statement included that the reader should not consider its use an endorsement or a recommendation over other brands or companies.
  • The final content and format of each paper is the decision of the Editor of the Proceedings and the Congress Chair.
  • All submissions must be made by email to: info@plasticulture.org

Abstracts must be received no later than Monday, June 5, 2006. Research papers must be received no later than Monday, July 3, 2006.
